Ed is busy at home with three young children and his lovely (and much less demanding) wife Anna but is fortunate to still find time for his other favourite things. He loves the outdoors and is at his happiest when on a family bushwalk in the Waitakere Ranges or along one of the beaches nearby, or when playing 18 holes of poor but very sociable golf. Ed sings bass in the 160-year-old Auckland Choral and gets a great thrill out of performing to a full house in the Town Hall. He is likely to be a useful member of your quiz team - especially if there is a round on 80’s music. He gets that many people find investments bewildering so he enjoys talking to clients in terms they understand and gets satisfaction from seeing their grasp of investing improve. He has over 30 years of very valuable experience in financial markets – from fast-paced trading environments in a US investment bank in London to managing long-term portfolios for personal and family office clients in New Zealand.
